Take my dogs when I can. They love it there.
I go to larger dog pasha with 50+ dogs all the time. This is small but rally nice, the facilities are great. I like that there are separate parks for social and shy dogs. There were people there that did not self evaluate well and there was a pretty bad dog fight in the social area while we were there (both pets were fine, owner of the attacker needed stiches). We have a puppy and she was totally fine in the social area the whole time, even during the fight. Like every other dog park, pay attention to the other people and animals, and I will be more assertive with the owner next time if I see bully behavior.
Such a nice space for our Cooper to explore. We'll maintained and clean. After traveling for 2.5 hrs. He had a ball enjoyed playing with the other dogs. Friendly people too!
Good park, a bit small. Also watch out for owners that don't know that they have aggressive dogs. I've been to dog parks with over forty dogs and never seen a fight, but here for five minutes before two of the six dogs got into it. To be fair, if dogs don't get socialized enough this can happen, but the owners didn't see it coming when it was fairly obvious they should have been spending less time telling stories and more time watching their dogs behaviors.
My Lab puppy was scared of other dogs until I started bringing her here. Now she has buddies! And is starting to come out of her shell. I enjoy bringing her here on a daily basis. As it wears her out. I also have met some really great people. And the park guy keeps the place stocked on poop bags,and the garbage can picked up, and the park clean. As do the dog owners. I am really happy that my sister in-law found this wonderful place for diamond & I back in October 2016. Even know that it is 18 miles from where we live. So thanks :) to whom ever thought & built this dog park for us who enjoy it! And for those who live in apartment,or trailer park,etc. To where our dogs need to run and play and be with there own kind for an hour.Thanks ! Kathy & Diamond girl.
